2/25 Cards minor league system ranked last in Central

LOL

So many of those crazy rankings, rants, baseball metrics, minor league experts would have you believe the Cardinals can't develop players.

When in fact out of the 9 starters position players only Nado and Willie C. are from other teams. More on the bubble. 6th, 7th, and 8th rounders. BP closer. McGreevey on the way.

Mo must ve doing something right. Hope Bloom learns from him.

it took Bloom taking over the minor leagues last season to institute modern Minor League systems. Mo ran it into the ground. This is documented.

If the season ended today, Mo would have a 3rd consecutive year of not making the playoffs, which would guarantee another year without a playoff win. And that would be 5 consecutive years without a playoff win…the longest stretch by the Cardinals since the early 1990s.

But you’re right, Mo is the greatest, the greatest ever. I bet you have MO’s picture all over your room.

Nothing Bloom has done did the drafting? He add a couple of coaches? You mean dime a dozen minor league coaches? That pitching lab help yet?

Bloom isn't liked in Boston.

Bloom built elite farm systems on 2 separate teams. He doesn’t need to learn a thing from bow-ta*d

Mo isn't the greatest ever. It's just that with 30 teams and today's environment he is one of the best. 3 rounds of playoffs means you have 12.5% chance of winning the 3rd round of series. This isn't pre-expansion when you only had to beat out a couple of teams from 1926-1946 because the others were so poor.

I don't expect to win the WS but every 15 or so years. We don't fire management because of a few down years since no guarantee new management will make the difference. Mo averaged 55% from 2008-2022 and was in the playoff hunt near the end in almost all of those seasons with many different players, etc.

And now like 2019 we are on the upturn. Will it be enough?

Well, if you think that’s a relevant consideration, how is Mozeliak liked in St. Louis?

Mo hired bloom to replace him so I guess Mo is an idiot for hiring him huh? And Mo isn’t well liked by a lot of St. Louis fans
