Alec Burleson was interviewed on The Morning After

Post by Adam2 »

Alec did about a 10 minute interview on TMA 101.1 fm, takeaways....

His first career home run was the same game Albert hit his 700th, so nobody remembers it

He does not like eating at restaurants, didn't say why. He only goes to restaurants if his pregnant wife makes him

He loves coffee

He didn't think he had the talent to play in MLB until after his sophomore year in college

He seemed like a cool, normal guy

Yeah he sounded like a real, affable, down-to-earth guy. Like me, most pro athletes these days don't like eating at restaurants because you never know exactly how much processed, fat content, carbs, etc are in what you're eating. Food is fuel. (and no I'm not implying I'm anything like a pro athlete. used to be semi-pro, but those days are loooooong gone.)

That's why Chipolte commercials with fat chicks dancing about how amazing it is that they're dipping their gobs of fat and bread into cheese are so amazing they have to dance and make sex noises ... make me wanna throw up.

It seems like chipotle has indeed catered towards the direction of emasculation
