Padilla was in desperate need of a good game...and Rodriguez continues to have good games. It's fun having exciting prospects in the FCL

Found this on Efren Alvarez. Very interesting pitcher. He comes from an academy in Mexico that has created a super advanced pitching lab. Same system that Padres #4 prospect Humberto Cruz came through. Look this Pernia guy up. He's going to be a very important figure in international baseball.
He was given an inning last year with their major league team and they only do that with top end prospects like Cruz.
