Coaching changes

Do you think Montgomery makes any coaching changes? Not to complain about the current ones,but, he could want his own choices,right?

Someone new to coach defensemen. They are pitiful on the transition game late in the game. They stand there looking for someone to pass to and too often pass lamely to the other team. Extra work on backhand passes is needed for all players except goalies.

I wonder if Claude Julien returns. He was a Bannister hire, so Bannister could lean on his experience. To be honest, I can't recall seeing on TV one time Julien giving instructions to a player. Montgomery might not need someone like that on staff.

Ott hasn't gotten any HC whiffs (yet) this cycle. I think Monty gives him some responsibility so he'll stay.

Maybe he elevates Michael Babcock to behind the bench.

For me it's logical to assume Montgomery COULD make a change or two but impossible to know who because there is nothing really glaring or known from any Montgomery comments. The team ended up playing good hockey through 6.97 of a seven game play off series with the leagues top seed.

I would guess defense is open to speculation maybe special teams but really, nothing is actually known about this from the Monty perspective.

Who was in charge of the PK? That’s what needs work IMO.

I personally didn’t see any of the assistants as glaring weak links but Monty did inherit all of them so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d want to bring in 1-2 that he knows he works well with and perhaps have strengths where he has weaknesses.
