The mystery was - why get ahead 0-2 and 1-2, then give up bombs. What ever happened to the strikeout.

A stud doesn’t give up those shots. Not on 0-2.

Not a defender of Oli, but when you have a (bleep) bullpen, you probably don’t want to go to it early and often.

Always chuckle when a very good HR power hitter ie. Pete Alonso
Crushes a 0-2 pitch for HR that fans if the team allowing the HR complain about their pitcher for allowing that.
When Albert Pujols crushed numerous 0-2 counts over the fence Cards fans attributed that to his great hitting prowess.

Interesting dynamic

Another bad signing by Mo. At least he only costs $35M next season.

Ahead in the count 0-2 is a clear pitchers advantage. I don’t care if they put the 0-2 pitch in play; just not a home run.

Never should a hitter get an 0-2 center cut pitch. You got three more pitches to use.

Is it really the lowest form of humor. How is that measured.

I never considered sarcasm a form of humor at all.
