Let’s get a good start to this series. This is mostly the right players that need to play. I’d still like to see Contreras lowered to like 5th. Replace Pages with Herrera and the lineup is more interesting.

He does better at home I think, but who don’t this year. Gotta keep them off the bases as we did the Brewers. Reds can hit.

Probably right. Good to have a ground ball pitcher going. Give yourself a chance.

@JohnDenton555 posted Pallante's Road/Home splits. It's not pretty, and he's pitching in the Great American Small Park.... recipe for disaster......so he'll probably throw a No-Hitter to thwart our Angst :lol: :lol:

#STLCards starter, Andre Pallante, has struggled on the road, going 0-1 with a 6.14 ERA in 3 road starts. He’s 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA at home.

more KRAZY NEWS

@JohnDenton555
#STLCards injured catcher Iván Herrera (left knee bone bruise) will begin cutting drills and base-running work possibly as early as Tuesday in St. Louis, manager Oliver Marmol said. The team is still hopeful he can begin a Minor League rehab assignment as early as Thursday.

Good news is Martinez has a 5.91 ERA at home this year with a .901 OPS against. So as you said it will naturally be a pitching duel. 8O 8O :lol: :lol:

expect more Pages than Pozo this series. Pages has a 33% caught stealing rate this season. MLB average is only 21%, making Pages amongst the league leaders. The REDS are a Running team.

John Denton
@JohnDenton555
In an effort to control the #Reds running game, the #STLCards are starting Pedro Pagès behind the plate for a fourth straight night. Cincinnati ranks seventh in MLB in steals with 30. Elly De La Cruz has 11 of those stolen bases.
