Fair to say that was their A-game?

Blues played their A game and Winnipeg played their worst. Have to keep that level up when the better Jets team shows up again.

IF they show up again.
Winnipeg has a history of letting this type of game kill them.

Loserpeg needed 2 gift goals to win Game 2. No such luck tonight.

They tried to just show up, and got shown up.

Hopefully the ownership is happy with the gate receipts for this game and the next as well.

Everyone finishing their checks in the first period was key to disrupting the Jets. I’ve not ever seen the Blues have a physical period like that. Usually once an opposing player unloads the puck 75% of Blues players don’t follow through with the hit. Now the Jets are pausing more, not playing as freely as they know a hit might be coming. Need to keep that up each game. Kyrou finished two hits in the first and Buch finished hits all game. I’ve never seen him have a game like that. I loved Buch screaming at Luke Schenn in the 1st. Also with around 5 mins to go in the 3rd Zack Bolduc still finished his hit on Logan Stanley. I would have liked to see a bit more of that from all the player in the 3rd but I’m also aware it’s probably near impossible to keep that pace up.

Beat their (bleep) in all phases. The better team finally won. It was just a matter of time. They got the confidence back now.

Sundays game should give all of us all an idea on where the series goes.

I am very happy the Blues showed themselves to the league for what they can be.

As I said before the series started, win, or lose, this team is a fun watch.

Playoff hockey is different and you have to play physical or you get blown out. You could tell the Jets were getting pizzed and off their game. Got to keep hitting Sunday.

Very happy; they played an amazing game from start to finish. But forgive me if I’m not bouncing up and down and planning where I’m going to stand for the parade when they’re still trailing in the series and still the underdog.
