Burleson has been in a power drought, but his .276 BA is still respectable
Isn't Burly's current .276 BA the 2nd best on the team amongst the regulars who've been playing recently? I just can quite figure out what's happened to Burleson's power numbers. However, he is becoming a very good defensive first baseman.

He sucks!
.645 OPS is beyond pathetic! Only 3 XBH in over 80 ABs.
Batting 5th and he has 6 RBI. Can't run. Mediocre first baseman. Horrible DH.

3 singles today, 1 an IF hit, 1 a bloop to CF and the other a worm burner to LF. No runs, no RBIs, no production. He's not a MOTO bat.

For the love of God.....give it a rest! LOL

BA: .276
xBA: .196
Peculiar how last year you repeatedly (and erroneously) claimed Burleson's BA was suppressed by "bad luck" and that he allegedly was hitting "rockets" "right at" people, yet not a peep from you this year while Burleson has benefited from relatively good batted ball luck.

Only 3 doubles all season.
No triples. No homers. 6 RBI.
His slap hitting would be fine if he could run like Victor Scott III, yet sadly, he runs more like Ernest Borgnine!

He's garbage. Any plan of a contending team that has him as a piece of it is a joke. Any idea that he is one of our main contributors is proof that this team is carrying a lot of deadweight.

Or 95 year old Bob Barker or Alfred Hitchcock.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025 15:13 pmOnly 3 doubles all season.

Actually, I'm just as concerned about Walker's and Gorman's inconsistencies. Those two were rated much higher, with much higher expectations, than Burleson.

His offense is respectable......if this was 1976 and he played shortstop. In no universe in todays game can you employ a DH or 1B who hits .270 with seeing eye singles.

Unless the Big Lug is slugging he has little to no value to a MLB team

I’ll answer that question when I start a thread on them being respectable.
