Yep- it,was definitely an avoidable icing. Just make a simple head man pass and tip it in then change lines.
Even if it went OT, I wasn't getting a good vibe about this one.

Agreed! Making the playoffs this year speeds up the process of them being true contenders sooner than later. It's fun watching Blues playoff hockey again!

Blues could have easily won that game. It’s not like Wpg blew them out of the building. They tried playing turtle hockey for 30 minutes and it cost them.

If Kyrou scores on that break away it's a totally different game. You have to give it to the Jets, they played a great third period and had the note stymied. It's one game and even if the Blues had won there is no calling the series after game 1.

So much to like in that game I'm not sure I would choose those words is all.

Hoping Monty can make some points that get through but the energy was there.

The Jets took the game over they bottled up the Blues forecheck somewhere around 10 mins into the 2nd after that the Blues were left defending. Too many little mistakes as well, missing sticks causing icing, too many bad passes all over the ice, bobbling possessions, not taking the shot. Good lessons learned every possession counts every chance to dump it in deep and go get a hit the Blues must value the puck waaay more. All in all the Blues played a respectable game but they have to keep up the forecheck to stay in this series. When the Jets start standing up at the blue line the Blues need to be able to thru that not attempt to skate thru guys

Yeah its tough to drop one that you could have won, especially on the road. This has just made the process harder.
