his dad overplayed their hand and NONE of the Big Brands had any interest as they already had their guys in place. Stupid on his part but at least he went to a USED to be power near home and is not getting paid what he was making at TN BAA's. UCLA bruins didn't have near the budget of Vols. Nor do they have the type coach who will develop him as well as Josh would have. Nicos first year saw a lot of flaws in his game that need coaching up and only time and games will show how it all turns out. One obvious thing is the offensive talent level is second tier here and won't have the 5 stars ketchn passes and blocking for him. Good luck staying upright Nico!
Get used to a rough transition time till Congress grants college sports anti trust protection so they can lay out a reasonable payment plan for athletes. They deserve their share for their contributions but not these crazy deals that are now common. Hang on it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Wait till some QB or star player suddenly holds out going into FALL camp. Yes it could get that stupid but hopefully the advisors of these kids will learn from this disasterous move.

Maybe. TN has no income tax of any kind. In CA the income tax rate for +$1M is 13.3%. Nico took an enormous pay cut to play on a team that is unlikely to make the CFP. Petulance has a high cost.

I saw this on UT network last night. Tennessee had a higher attendance in the annual orange white game than UCLA averaged last year. They have 3 games under 40k fans. Will be a significant change for the young man.
