That's a good summary.

0-0 after 1 period.

Well! Isles score on deflection moments after Mild score on Zuccarello shot off Sorokins head from behind the net. I wasn't even done cursing at the Isles when they scored!

Geesh! Tardy returning from the break and all the sudden it's 2-1 Isles.

Ooof, bad hit there on Middleton by Horvat. Totally innocent. Hate to see any player get hurt like that.

Middleton went into the boards head first-ish. Very slow getting up. Looks to be ok-ish.

Middleton hurt, headfirst into boards after push from behind by Horvat. Minor penalty, definitely a push but the head-board collision was worse than the push.

The Wild just don't seem to have that urgency, do they?

1:06 remaining, 3-1.

I didn't see much effort from the Mild tonight.

Yeah, finally Blues getting some help. Mild are just punchless, their lone goal was scored from behind the net off Sorokin's head.

With 5 games each left the Blues are 2 points ahead of Minny.

Yep. I don't want to give away the advantage by losing to Colorado tomorrow. We need at least a point if we are going to lose. The Wild have Dallas on Sunday.

Not going to toot my own horn for too long here, but i called this Minnesota Collapse in the chase thread where we were watching other games for most of march at the beginning of March. No Kaprisov = no real chance to be competitive in most games. I'm starting to suspect they might not even make it to 94 points unless Kaprisov suddenly walks down the tunnel at the start of a game. And his potential return is what would still concern me if i were a team facing Minnesota in round 1 should they make it, if he is good to go it's going to make them much better with the good team defense.
