Asian fusion restaurant that emphasizes Malaysian flavors. I was disappointed when I looked at the menu and it was familiar American dishes--duck, salmon, short ribs, etc. But the protein doesn't really matter with these flavors. I'd eat a tennis shoe if it were on that bed of saffron couscous.

I went with the lamb shank and it's one of the best meals in St. Louis.

Yes, Akar is outstanding. They started out in a very small space, but they took over the place next door, so they have plenty of room.
