Early indications show he's on fire.
He's made some excellent defensive plays and his bat has been way above solid. SSS, I realize but historically speaking he's been an outstanding hitter and allegedly he's picked up some swing speed over the off season. Might he have a monster season?
Why trade Nado?

Re: Why trade Nado?
Is someone clamoring for that trade to happen, now that the season has started?
Re: Why trade Nado?
God, you guys are hilarious.
How many games does it take to go from, "we are unable to trade Nado!" to "we shouldn't trade Nado!"?
I guess 6 games...

Might not be Nado, but it makes sense that they've got to trade someone. Oddly, it seems they have too many mouths to feed. Chances are, nothing would happen until the deadline, and a lot can change by then. If Gorman continues to progress, what do you do with him? If that does happen, it would be a waste to play him part time. I guess having too many players isn't a bad thing, but it also isn't always a good thing either.
Like the old saying goes, winning cures everything. Let's just hope that happens, and then the chips will fall as they fall.

It’s not based on how NA performs. A trade should be based on fitting into longer term plans for the organization. I appreciate the enthusiasm around the early start of the season. But remember this is still an organization that needs a lot of changes.

What the hell are you talking about? I didn't want to trade him, I made several post he shouldn't be traded and that Moe was being weird ruminating on wanting to move him. You wouldn't get (bleep) for him after his last two seasons if he would even agree to be moved, which he clearly didn't.

Re: Why trade Nado?
Way too early to tell how he will they perform, according to the Sabers guys the first stat that normalized is BB% at around 50 PA's. Some of these players are over halfway there, so that's really the only stat we could begin take seriously. With that said both Noot and Nado have more walks than strike outs which is a good thing while their walk rate is climbing. Nado is at a historic high early on, but even as that begins to normalize it's not impossible to assume he could carry a 9% BB rate or ~ to that number which would be outstanding along with excellent 3rd base defense. Something that Gorman or no other on this team can give you.RamFan08NY wrote: ↑04 Apr 2025 08:12 am Might not be Nado, but it makes sense that they've got to trade someone. Perhaps all this drama--that he's untraceable aka overpaid and going downhill maybe lit a fire under his *ss? One can hope.
