Last night interview with Ivan Herrera he mentioned that there was not that many Panamanian players in MLB, which made me look up how many there are, and have been in the show. Currently there are only 8 in MLB, with 10 more in the minors. Just over 50 players formerly played in MLB. Here is a list of (perhaps) the best of the Panamanian players in MLB history.

2b Rennie Stennett

3b Hector Lopez

Re: Panama all star team
I looked up a similar list yesterday, to see if Ivan was the first Panamanian to hit 3 homers in a game. But Carlos Lee beat him to it.12xu wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025 10:07 am Last night interview with Ivan Herrera he mentioned that there was not that many Panamanian players in MLB, which made me look up how many there are, and have been in the show. Was it Carlos Lee that was missing a finger. Might be the only 9 fingered MLB player to hit 3 HR's, ha.Lloyd Braun wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025 10:20 amI looked up a similar list yesterday, to see if Ivan was the first Panamanian to hit 3 homers in a game. Then again, when you're a C, there might be a lot of days when you feel you're missing at least one finger.

Wasn't Edmundo Sosa Panamanian?
