I tried searching on this thing called the “internet” and it says it’s his back and is just a minor issue. Zero concern he will be ready for opening day

He will rake because he’s in a new environment with less responsibility.

He turns 38 in September and will be more suseptible to injury and aches/pains that limit play. And he will take longer to recover from ailments. Thus is the reality of Father Time. Oh, and his skills will continue to deteriorate... ...another reality of Father Time.

Thank God Mo is gone because if not we could expect Mo to bring him back for a swan song season in about 10 years a la MCarp.

Sounds like you're talking from experience ................... ok, we all are :D but while still at 37 it's not that improbable Golds can have a good season.
