If you find that your username in various displays is green that means the forum software has you labeled as a "newly registered user."
If you click on a user's name that's green, and you get a screen saying the user doesn't exist, they are a "newly registered user" that's in the middle of email verification, and you won't be able to see their user profile until that process is complete. They are not banned.
Posts from a newly registered user have to be approved in the normal forums before they are visible to the public.
When such folks are noticed, they'll be forced through the "email verification" process. (If you are curious about what email verification is... Just ask. I'm more than happy to let you experience it.)
After their email address has been verified they will be removed from "newly registered." Please be aware that is a manual process, and we'll get to you when we can.

It's not easy being green...
