Suggestion: The Probation Ward
Two thoughts:
First and most important -- you need to get into a Psych Ward ASAP.
Second -- I hope that Lucic or Mailloux each get to meet you before you get there.

You are not funny. You are a sociopath.

I kind of see Luc having problems trying to keep up with these guys. This teams getting faster. I know he's a 4th liner but Walker Toro and Bjugstad can skate.
1- "Goons" absolutely are not "necessary" in today's game.
That said, there are still plenty of teams that carry one(NYR(Rempe), Montreal(Xhekaj), Boston(Kastelic), CBJ(Olivier), TB(Lilleberg) Florida(Greer), Nash(McCarron)) and there are plenty of comments from players about feeling "more comfortable" when there is one on the team(no proof that those comments are based on fact; but plenty of opinions about it). That's actually a big part of the reason that Tucker supplanted Suter in the 2nd half last season.

Teams can absolutely go without having that type of player nowadays, but they are starting to trickle back into the League.
TBD if the Blues will join that group with this Lucic PTO.

2- Bjugstad isn't really known as a great skater. Better than Sunny for sure, but his skating isn't anywhere close to a plus(he's probably a small notch below Schenn).

In regards to Lucic: he and Sunny are about the same speed and I'm not sure that's a bad start to a line. I think zone entries would be rough with that duo, but the physicality and mentality(those two would OWN the front of the net) might make up for it with the right linemate("the right linemate" is NOT Bjugstad, Toro or Dingo; but it might work with Suter).

I wouldn't waste Suter's ice time with those two. We need experienced Center with his skill on one of the other 3 scoring lines, at least for the first part of the season. And I'm not sure we need both Sunny and Lucic dressed in the lineup at the same time. I'll actually be quite surprised if the need to discuss these thoughts after the final cut will present.

They can't be on a line together, one is a forward and one is a defenseman.

This "journalist" in a moron (if he said it).

I heard his interview with Cam and Strick. The guy has been through a lot in the last couple years and seems to be doing pretty well. I’m pulling for him and hope he finds a job this season!

I hope the Blues sign him as a Thorburn/Clifford locker room/enforcer/mentor type guy.

I fear a division rival will scoop him up if he's released.

I see this as a rear view mirror type of signing.

I'd rather move forward.

He isn't signed. He's just trying out to see if he has anything left in the tank.

I get that.

Just as soon keep it that way but I'm not Monty either.

i posted in that other thread i started but saw you guys commenting on it in here. My take on it is this. They don't want neighbours and schenn to have to go drop gloves in every game. If lucic even remotely looks like a 20 point guy, his size can be useful on the PK and can be used when some guys need a break and the guy can go and fight. Our current roster, is filled of tons of skill. The way Hollywood talks about the roster is that everyone will go to battle for everyone. But we don't have guys who legit can do that and most likely stay healthy. This at most is an insurance policy if he shows he's got something left.

I do see if he signs and makes the team out of camp, you are going to see a dealing of like a Joseph (who I want to make the roster and play 4th line) and a Dean or some kind of prospect for a younger prospect. The blues will send 2 NHL ready guys to go younger. Thats just my 2 cents. But we will see those moves over the next couple years regardless because our prospect pool is so deep.

QFA. Lucic seems to be in a good space right now. Can understand why the Blues offered him a tryout. Will be pulling for him to earn a roster spot. It won't be easy with the Blues depth at forward.

That leader would be Toews...not somebody that tried to start a fight in a post game handshake line.

6-0 tonight. One of the best one on one players in the history of the game. This alone is remarkable

He needs to come back to Chicago as some kind of coach and teach CBD98 how to become dominant at faceoffs. They have Peca...JT19 would be another great addition to the rebuild.

19 years later...there's that name again: Jordan Stahl. Oh well.
