I knew the olds would hate this.
My God, what do you want them to talk about from a local angle for four straight hours? They talked about Mizzou, had a Mizzou writer on. Talked about the Blues, had Kerber on. The Illini got stomped, not much to dive into. No Cardinals or City in season, no NFL team, no NBA team.
It’s different than what you’re used to. Honestly, it’s different than what the typical TMA audience is used to. Things. Change. Making a decision after 15 minutes is silly.
It’s sports talk radio.
I want to hear about sports. Not organic coconut oil and it’s usefulness as a lubricant
How much do you need broken down for four straight hours? Again, there's only one local pro team in season and two college teams. No Hot Stove yet. You want them to break down NFL quarterbacks? Would the NBA work in St. Louis? Mount Rushmore of ballpark snacks?
And hey, if coconut oil is a good lube, you learned something. Nothing wrong with a little education.
Agree. Don't hate the show but 4 hours is a lot-lot. Not that much to cover so too much playing around

yeah the TMA is the most overrated sports talk show in St Louis history. I can't believe 101.1 removed their morning show for this it's like a wannabe Howard Stern type show with interesting callers and characters that think they have some sort of big fan base
pretty aggravating.
I would rather listen to Kevin Slaten or Bernie or Karraker

I don’t listen to TMA as I used to, but there’s just not enough compelling sports talk for anyone to fill four hours every day with local content.

So, you don’t think they can talk about the World Series, Thursday Night Football matchup, college basketball preview, Cardinals Offseason projection, and Blues pregame, today?
There is a craaap ton of sports to talk about. Hell, they could probably spend a small segment on local highschool sports and keep people entertained

the TMA nerds were out in full force to protect their show today.
their whole base are westco nerds who went to either parochial or private schools, and still think emailing about poopy diapers is funny, 12 years later they still think it's funny.

Reporting back after roughly 3 months.
This show is awful.

Yeah, I’m not much of a fan. I’ve but over during commercial breaks on the Rizzuto Show, but have opted out each time for a song on Spotify.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think it’s Jackson’s fault

Haven’t listened to 101 in months now. The “talent” is unlistenable. They are either uninformed and acting informed or goofy or they are trying to be comics and aren’t funny.
I want real sports guys on sports radio. Guys that know the game, the players, the history of the franchises, etc.

I listen about an hour a week and that's enough for me. That hour is just when the Rizz show is on commercial (which are crazy long)

Since they debuted the only thing I've listened to on 101 is the Blues pregame. I haven't listened to a minute of any other broadcasting.
My morning started with them and I listened almost non stop throughout the day. Now I don't listen at all.

101.1 doesn't work until 11:00 am for me.
Not sure how much longer they're going to stick w/the Gong Show.
