Here is what it came down to. A significant number of can-not-miss major impact prospects were busts.
There were no CAN’T MISS prospects…..there were MO propaganda stories……when we finally watched all these players, the GAPING HOLES in their game were very obvious to the person sitting at home on the couch. Why the highly paid MLB professionals in the Cards org couldn’t see this
Sure glad you can judge a ballplayer while sitting at home
on your couch.

How many times have you been wrong? I believe we have all made the mistake a few times. I believe the first player I was wrong about was Steve Huntz, a big switch-hitting SS.

Right now I’m wrong about Walker and Gorman.
Thought they would be All Stars.

The incompetence of this ownership is very scary
You mean the same ownership that accomplished the following:
29 years
2 World Championships
4 Pennants
12 NL Central titles
16 playoff appearances
.544 winning percentage, 4th in baseball, 2nd in the NL
From 2000-2025, only two losing seasons
That ownership? I would say they have done pretty well. They built it once, I believe they are putting things together to do so again.

Ownership did a great a job giving jocketty and Larussa the resources they needed to build a great organization they did a lousy job leaving Mo and his incompetent managerial hires in charge to destroy it

Are you a Cranny sock?
He’s not a sock. He’s a rational poster who lays out the facts. Factually sending a message to the entitlement crowd.
