Clearly as has been pointed out the over and over and over Blues have avoided the "tanking" by drafting and developing well and trading chips to acquire more top notch prospects who on the way
Our prospects are ranked and have been ranked no better than 15th among the 30 teams. This is average in my book. Further, it is pitiful considering that the Blues just freshly completed their re-whatever. The ranking should be very high, given the Blues cycle.

Some people believe that replacing average old players with average young players is significant improvement. I don't. Do you see any young ROR's? Any young Tarasenko's? Any young Petro's? The Blues are a good team, but they have a zero path to great.
You're not real.
Here is my suggestion to help you see more clearly. Give a listen to what other teams are saying about their own rosters. Talking about what they have and what they need, etc. Give a listen to what National hockey writers are saying about the Blues. If you only tune into local sports radio, you are listening to homers, the cheerleading section.

Uh oh. Looks like you guys broke it.

Oh no…
ROR - Thomas is better
Tarasenko - Kyrou
AP - Parayko
Jaybo - Broberg
Schwartz - Holloway is better
Perron - Carbonneau (will be better)
Schenn - is still Schenn

Dvorsky, Stenberg, Snuggerud, Mailloux, Hofer, Blues are in great shape. Perhaps go find the team that suits your bias and enjoy their forum. You have no credibility here your really just a side show.

Brent Burns

Especially when he was young. So many similarities.
Better comp than Bouchard? I’m not sure
Other than a quality shot how is he anything like Bouchard? They play nothing alike aside from being right shot dmen.

People may forget how raw Burns was defensively when he was young, and even as he aged he was always more dominant offensively than in the dzone aside from his physicality laying hits and clearing net front. Absolute clapper of a shot, good puck skills, skates well for his size, prone to defensive mistakes, etc. Thats my best comp for Mailloux stylistically. Thats the upside if he hits.

Size, shot, offensive instincts. Challenges defensively

Also Burns was playing at 18-19 as opposed to starting halfway to 23. Huge difference. Plus Burns is just a bigger man

I just watched the hockey sense interview with Logan and he said he never started playing D until he was 13. Then he only played 75 games in the OHL over a three year period. He may just need 2-3 years to see how he continues to develop.

Bouchard’s hockey IQ is lower than 80.
Mailloux needs experience and will grow this season.

I like the Brent Burns comp, as well.

He stopped watching the Blues for 20 games.

"bad team...very bad. Bad GM too"

Then ....when they kicked into gear......schizaaaam.

Mr agenda. He's got like 4 of them going right now.....all downers.

Brent Burns played wing a lot early in his career, because he was abysmal and weak defensively.

I hope that's not the case with Mailloux.
