I retired in 2017, moved to Florida, started a couple of side hustles marketing on the internet and a couple youtube channels. Between that and fishing I keep pretty busy. I try to check in every day or so, but don't post much. 67 y/o and still after that 10 lb bass.

The channels bass fishing related? Eight years in FL and no 10 pounder? My biggest in MO is 8.8. I don't largemouth fish much anymore. When I fish now, it's either floating a river for Small mouth, or catching panfish under a bobber.

Weren’t you competition level. How do you go from that level to catching perch with a bobber. What changed.

A tick to the right of 70 YO. Retired at age 55.

Family has roots in central Ill and Cardinals fans since 1940's. Dad returned from WWII and family started making trips to STL to watch games at Sportsman Park. Family began season tickets in 1970 and ended 2018.

Blessed to see the greats Gibson, Musial, Willie M, Red, Ozzie, AP, Herr, Javier, Brock, et al. Further blessed to see world championships, WS, playoff games, etc. When in Nam could not wait to get the Stars and Stripes to see if Cards won.

Since 2022 & 2023 interest has waned in beloved Cardinals. Product quality has declined. Ownership, FO, mangers are below any MLB standard. Hopefully, 2026 will bring new ownership, Bloom, and manager. Winn is the future. Check CT periodically when at home.

They won 93 in 2022.

I retired from the Naval Reserve as well as the public school system after 20 years as a secondary school principal. Did some coaching and teaching early in my school career, baseball was always my favorite to coach. After retirement in 2003 I was able to spend 20 plus years traveling the card show circuit. Met some amazing people, even got along with Cub fans. Royals fans were more obnoxious at times, especially when they were winning. Did the National Card Collectors Convention in Chicago, Cleveland, Atlantic City, and Baltimore, Chicago and Cleveland multiple times. I have been blessed.

The channels bass fishing related? Eight years in FL and no 10 pounder? My biggest in MO is 8.8. I don't largemouth fish much anymore. When I fish now, it's either floating a river for Small mouth, or catching panfish under a bobber.

Weren’t you competition level. How do you go from that level to catching perch with a bobber. What changed.

Legend in my own mind! I fished some tourneys, but nothing serious. It used to be a dream, hence the name. I grew up jerking perch, and now have grandkids. I enjoy doing that with them as much as anything.
