That is what we wanted to happen. Not sure about you, but unfortunately, what actually happened was what I expected.
Fortunately we've got a plethora of young catchers in the pipeline, some of which could be really good!Cusecards wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025 13:09 pmWould have liked to have seen Pozo in there today.rockondlouie wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025 13:07 pm Pages does a really nice job handling the pitchers and he's above average gunning down runners if they give him a chance

Need all the bats you can against DeGrom.
Tough to have everything. If you can handle pitchers, ability to gun runners down , and hit too and you have an All Star catcher year after year.rockondlouie wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025 13:07 pm Pages does a really nice job handling the pitchers and he's above average gunning down runners if they give him a chance

No one said we had to have another JB, those don't exist.ramfandan wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025 13:14 pmTough to have everything. Doing two of those three is pretty good for the toughest position to play in baseball.
A Johnny Bench comes along once in a generation.
