Unfortunately this is a very clairvoyant forecast that’ll definitely come true, yet again. He’s cool to talk hockey with sometimes, but then I just ignore him when he’s on these LOOK AT ME cycles when Walgreens is out of his scripts.George Zipp wrote: ↑14 May 2026 13:16 pm Good ole rollin is back to the point in his posting lifecycle where we are getting closer to his next meltdown, forum apology, ban or all of the above. For those of us who have been here as long as he has this stuff is like clockwork.
For a bit of posting recently he was being all deferential to other posters, open to other ideas etc. Clearly he was warned by the mods, for the 8 billionth time, to calm down. He calmed for a minute. And now? Back to his intentional horrible trolling takes "Thomas would be the 3rd line center on many teams, holloway is horrible, broberg blah blah blah etc etc" and back to fighting and bickering with just about the entire board in every freaking thread. The guy clearly gets off being contrarian because, tight life and all.
We've all seen this movie many times. Soon he's going to get banned again or we are going to see an apology post from him (I think we are at 3 or 4 of these historically) telling the board he will be a better person etc.
These goofs are nothing if not consistent.

Thomas had 64 points in 64 games and finished +22. 14 points on the PP and 3 while shorthanded.
Stamkos had 66 points in 82 games and was -17. 26 points on the PP and 0 while shorthanded.
A real humdinger, if I ever saw one.

Correct. Stammer has played mostly on the wing the last 3-4 years now. He’s still good at faceoffs though so makes sense to use him there but then he switches to wing after the draw as he’s just not a very good C defensively. Was never his strong suit but now that he’s in his mid-30s, it makes more sense to use him as a top line with not having to worry much about defense.

I guess I'd prefer my C to be a guy who can be used in all situations and puts up a strong +/- against the best players on other teams.
Seems a much more well-rounded player than a guy who put up .5 PPG at even strength and split time between C and RW.
You're wrong, as always, but as you say, why admit a mistake?

It’s ok to acknowledge that. Even Armstrong said we value Thomas more than everyone else
Tampa? I'll give you Point but Thomas and him are very close. Thomas is better than Cirelli
And again - your claim was Thomas is a 2c on the most teams. Shocker you can't name those teams...
I disagree on Cirelli.
and I already NAMED the teams last week.
I mean looking at line combos, he’s easily a 2C on a lot of teams. He’d be a winger on Buffalo. He’s not better than Tage Thompson, Konsta Helenius, or Josh Norris.
Carolina he’s a winger or doesn’t even make the team.
Colorado-AHL or wing
Dallas 3C or wing
Florida-AHL or wing
Devils 3C
Islanders 3C
Rangers 3C or Wing
Ottawa 3C or Wing
Philadelphia 3C
SJ-AHL or Wing
Toronto 3C or Wing
VGK- AHL
Wash-Wing
I can’t help that you don’t like facts.
I know it’s hard to accept being wrong right now. But I’m sure you’ll be fine.
In one of your previous lists you said kogan stankoven. Tell me again how stankoven is a better center and how thomas wouldnt make the team. Stankoven only plays center because carolina ALSO doesnt have a true 2c. Aho might not be the 1c with thomas. But you know all of this.

Carolina’s listed centers are Aho, Stankoven, and Staal.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑14 May 2026 17:16 pmMy narrative is that you are naming primary wingers and saying they would be the primary center OVER robert thomas.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑14 May 2026 15:25 pmI’m sorry I destroyed your narrative with research and facts.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑14 May 2026 15:23 pmWhy would i take it up wirh puck pedia? They are not the ones making this ignorant list. They are just the culprit who told you a player took a faceoff or telling you possible line combinations. If you have to google a team to see who their centers are, then you dont have a educated opinion. Why? Because you had to be educated to have a educated opinion.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑14 May 2026 13:07 pmIf you’ve got a problem with this list. Talk to Puck Pedia. They have lineups for every team with a full roster (meaning healthy)Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑14 May 2026 12:12 pmDude you just say things for a laugh. Thomas isn’t in the same stratosphere as Aho or Stankoven, and they won’t play him over their captain.
