You’re right but my logic is a little different. If the return is so low why not just keep him rest of year. So we are out of playoff race and not very competitive but it would be nice to be able to get a few outs.

I know my logic is flawed and frankly selfish. I just want to watch the rest of the season and have a totally pathetic team. Frankly I don’t want to trade any pitchers.

That's part of the reason they brought up Mathews. I get it though.
