I’d be happy with just Montes for a guy that will be a free agent after 2 seasons and not having real high expectations for the team right now

I don’t know about this particular deal, but usually when pro sports contracts and trades are delayed, it’s for either notifying the players involved, or finalizing details around the financial and medical terms.

He's quite a bit better as a RH. I thought it would be interesting if he continued to do both, but didn't mix and match. He could be a starting pitcher as a RH only and in between starts he could be a middle reliever as a LH. That would be crazy.

me, personally, I pray Cijntje isn't involved. Undersized RHP. Size usually doesn't matter as LHP, but that's his worse side.

3B Ben Williamson from Seattle to TB is part of the deal apparently
