"Say no to Arizona Wildcat Baseball!!!!"

but he can hit and field....no power, which is odd for that frame.

Still...he's a WildCat...they're bleh....Chase Davis
Who is he? Rays top prospect is a 22 yo Carson Williams way down at #63. 60 Power, 70 field grade, but only 35 hit tool? Also yet Another SS.
you don't want Carson Williams....I've seen him play too much....he's a horrible.

Summerhill was mocking Late Top 10 in last years draft....dropped to Comp A round after first round. A lot of players dropped in last years draft b/c of the run on HS SS...historic run on HS SS.

Good hitting OF, good glove....no power....and from the wrong school. I have Chase Davis fatigue
Hope not then. We have too many without power already.
I don't mind if he's the 2nd guy....I want the 1st guy to be a HR from the Mariners. If Summerhill would be the headliner, I'd be ticked

I hope we get a Comp pick, too....that would be awesome

Most of us figured Bloom wanted to open up 2nd base for Wetherholt. It is coming to fruition. Bloom doesn't make this trade without JJ waiting in the wings. The drafting of Wetherholt and progression last two years ago and Donovan trade value at peak this year coincided perfectly.

Do any of these guys have any idea what they're talking about? It's an old, outdated format and I know why I haven't listened regularly to it in like 15 years.
I know. I remember trying to listen to Rome years ago. "Have a take, and don't suck."
Then he would go off on one point and just keep repeating that one line over and over, trying out different inflections. He just liked to hear himself talk.

He denies that thread ever happened.....all 3 pages of the back and fourth. Is he still on Timeout/Stand in Corner duty?

Ok, glad he's not coming here. 10 professional HRs across 3 seasons. Not young either.

Kyle Reis hinted an hour or so ago that something was up and just now he says that it's not for him to report, but the return is appropriate, exciting, and "should be fun."

Take that as you will.

Makes one wonder why the Rays are even involved

I like Reis...but "exciting" from him on prospects. Sorry, Kyle....

Hmmmm...I have to wait and see

Carp4Cy wrote: 02 Feb 2026 15:39 pm Will see if we get any of :

Mariners top 7 prospects:
No. 9: Colt Emerson, SS
No. 21: Kade Anderson, LHP
No. 33: Ryan Sloan, RHP
No. 43: Lazaro Montes, OF
No. 67: Michael Arroyo, 2B
No. 78: Jonny Farmelo, OF
No. 91: Jurrangelo Cijntje, SHP

Or are the Rays involved and they get the above?
I’d be happy with just Montes for a guy that will be a free agent after 2 seasons and not having real high expectations for the team right now

That was a classic! Now that you mention it, the board has been much smoother lately. Did he get the boot?

I hear the cardinals are getting cash considerations from both the Rays and Mariners as their return.

Obviously, just reading into it with nothing to support, but should be fun from him makes me think of Cijntje.

I hope it's exactly the way he said it "exciting". Again, I like Kyle plenty. We disagree sometimes. :D And grown men can do that
