Actually, Riff Raff that’s not the case. I’ve criticized Mo many times in the past for moves he’s made. But he was part of the organization for almost 30 years, and if you and others don’t think he contributed positively many times at many levels, you’re flat out wrong. Don’t underestimate HackGate either, there was some nefarious back room dealing with Manfred to save BDW and Mo, lone wolf theory never passed the smell test

I would guess they knew everything there was to know, and if things went higher, why wouldn’t the FBI have indicted everyone? Why would they have let BDW and Mo off the hook? That never made sense to me.

I wonder how much of a hand Tony LaRussa had in pulling the trigger on flipping Colby Rasmus for bullpen reinforcements, SP depth and a veteran outfielder: Dotel, Rzepczynski, Jackson and Patterson.
Hindsight being 20/20, it almost looks/feels like Mo made sure it was the last time someone told him what to do. We’ll never know for sure.
One thing we do know is Chris Correa did 4 years in Federal Prison for hackgate. Pretty wild to think about.
That is EXACTLY what happened. TLR was the last manager empowered enough to stand against Mo and save him from himself and his own decision making. And not coincidentally, the last time Mo won an award.

I think we know for sure. You don’t hire 3 different managers with absolutely zero managerial experience and even extremely limited MLB coaching experience 3 different times and expect anyone to believe that it’s not TLR PTSD

Not bought off. But BDW has lots of money and powerful, influential friends.
BDW could have just bought off Correa into saying "I know nothing" regarding the involvement of others. Promised him a soft landing after prison time. I imagine most billionaires don't get where and stay where they are by being morally pure.

Hahahaha. Yes, Mozeliak aggravates the heck out of me because he drove this team off a cliff. But I admit, a lot of my posts are to get some posters fired up. Its amusing. So maybe im not normal.
