No. He let the guy get to third where he would have been out had MG not choked.
Although I've spent many years playing & watching baseball, I've never been clear on when a batter is allowed to advance to first on a missed 3rd strike, and what situations when he's not.

No. He let the guy get to third where he would have been out had MG not choked.
And never would have been a throw if Burly holds the guy to 2nd.
Same thing as if pitcher would have thrown a wild pitch .. you could say , pitcher allowed the run home but run wouldn’t score if guy had been on 2nd.
You are risking allowing more runs when an outfielder allows extra 90 feet.
