Burleson is a free swinger, who clogs up the bases, and is horrible at first and outfield, and I mean horrible
If you want to hit him 7th or 8th as a DH, he is barely tolerable
Why doesn’t somebody ride his behind to get in better shape
719 ops. His ops+ is 120 meaning burly is hitting 20% better than league average. No team has a lineup deep enough for that to be hitting 7th or 8th.
Burly is currently our best hitter and we rank near the middle of the pack in runs scored despite starting acott and pages with burly our best hitter. Not 30th.
