What unique Cardinals topic would you prefer? Es. The fabulous young pitching coming along in the organization. McGreevy, Mathews, Hence, Roby, etc. Roby threw 6 shutout innings for Memphis yesterday.

How much longer can the Cardinals (and we fans) be expected to wait on that "potential"?
They both have built in replacements at the ready in Donovan/Saggese and Burleson/Donovan. At this point, we've lost the window to trade them.
Also, it's not worth dropping them until they are more expensive in arbitration than the value they could bring to the table, which is likely 2027. I'd defintely wait to see if the light switch ever flips on.
Walker is just a few months older than Wetherholt and slightly younger than Winn. It's worth waiting for him.

Walker has gone back to his original open stance with his left front foot again stepping towards short during his swing. He can't hit any outside pitches with power as his body contorts into a 90 deg angle to reach the corner. The pitchers know this and set him up every time and the result is a weak groundball or a pop up. If he doesn't make a major change in his swing he is never even going to be above average or perhaps a complete wash out.

Both have been major disappointments so far, no other way to spin it.
Their lack of hitting evolution is their kryptonite, neither ever adjusts their swings planes (as opposed to Donovan, Burleson, Winn and Scott who have made significant strides/improvements). Not sure Walker or Gorman have any Baseball IQ either

Shady Maple loves to ride a horse to death. A lot of people have a hard time pulling for Alec Burleson because of the recurring multiple and repetitive threads about his boy Alec. I gets so very old, I have refrained from most of his posts. He is about to put the Shady hex on Roby, who is his new man crush. Inevitable if he is called up and farts Shady will sniff it out.
