Or just keep them as part-time players with the Cardinals, for now. Outfielder, Nathan Church, is really hitting well at Memphis. As was Saggese. So either of those players might be good replacements for Gorman and Walker or both for a while.
Regarding Walker and Gorman no one knows what will be done and all the options have been discussed to death.
They will either:
A. Stay on roster
B. Be traded.
C. Sent down……again.
D. DFA’d.

Re: What to do with Gorman and Walker?
They both have built in replacements at the ready in Donovan/Saggese and Burleson/Donovan. At this point, we've lost the window to trade them. How much longer can the Cardinals (and we fans) be expected to wait on that "potential"?
Also, it's not worth dropping them until they are more expensive in arbitration than the value they could bring to the table, which is likely 2027. I'd defintely wait to see if the light switch ever flips on.
Walker is just a few months older than Wetherholt and slightly younger than Winn. It's worth waiting for him.

Re: What to do with Gorman and Walker?
Walker has gone back to his original open stance with his left front foot again stepping towards short during his swing. He can't hit any outside pitches with power as his body contorts into a 90 deg angle to reach the corner. The pitchers know this and set him up every time and the result is a weak groundball or a pop up. If he doesn't make a major change in his swing he is never even going to be above average or perhaps a complete wash out.

For some reason Shady feels we HAVE to make a decision SOON?????

Uh....no!
I have engaged in civil discussion on the topic of Walker/Gorman with numerous posters(including yourself) on multiple occasions.
You start threads....which is fine.
But.....you don’t engage in the discussions. You just add repetitive questions THEN start a NEW THREAD the next day!
You claim to want to “talk baseball” but it seems to me(and many others) that you just obsess over starting new threads?
Which is it??
