Same as when the league wanted the Patriots to win amid the patriotic fervor after 9-11. The 2001 St. Louis Rams can testify. (The Patriots mugged Rams receivers all game long with impunity, and no flag was thrown on an obvious grounding by Brady on the game-winning drive. And don't forget that the Patriots never should have even made the SB that year, because they were gifted a playoff win vs. the Raiders based on a made up on the fly tuck rule that negated a game-losing Brady fumble.)

Watch the refs today. That will be the tell.

But I don't really care. The NFL can take a hike after what it did to STL.
This. I’ll watch (except for halftime) until it gets out of hand but I couldn’t care less who wins.
At halftime you gonna flip over to the Kid Rock thing?

Not supposed to discuss the NFL?

But since we are, note that the Pats have rebuilt from worst to first in a SINGLE season, not a 5 year rebuild.

And I would take the under of 45.5
As of now it looks like you should be a gambling man..lol

Agreed, not close.
Seahawks won the toughest division in the NFL, the easily dispatched the 49ers by 35 points and led the Rams by 11 until giving up a meaningless TD late in the 4th quarter.
They look like a team which has peaked at the right time.
27-13.
22-7 with a little over 4 minutes left.
15 point lead and the game is over other than garbage time.
Nailed it.

I thought Seattle by ten before the game. Exceptional defense against a second year QB. They were more dominant than I thought they would be.

Predicted 27-13.
Ended 29-13.
A little disappointed to miss SEA's point total by 2 and get NE's perfectly right.
I expect better of myself.
Now, back to baseball.

Nice call. Hopefully you put some money on it!

I used to gamble, but I quit in protest after I put $100 on Arenado getting traded last offseason and those jerks wouldn’t pay up when I clearly won.

They drafted Drake Maye 2 years ago. Sucked in year 1 and Super Bowl in year 2, albeit with a laughably easy schedule, including injury luck in the playoffs.

Kudos to them. We will see if they are for real next season playing a first place schedule. They were certainly exposed big time tonight vs. the Seahawks.

NE just wasn't that good of a team. Historically easy schedule and then a cakewalk path in the playoffs. Good to see NE get a beating.
