OT...Okay who do you have in the superbowl...not that it matters
I really don't keep up with the NFL since the Rams moved but since it's the Superbowl I'll give it a stab. It appears Seattle is slightly favored. I'll go with the favorite and pick Seattle by a field goal.

Since the Big Red is not there I will go with Seattle. If carroll was still there I would go with the Pats.

I'll have to root for the Pats since my kid is a fan (don't ask
), but I'm really just hoping for a good close game.
My prediction is Seahawks 26 Patriots 19.

Not a gambler, but if I was, I’d like the Seahawks either laying 4.5 or at -230.
And I would take the under of 45.5

Seahawks blowout
Re: OT...Okay who do you have in the superbowl...not that it matters
Yeah, big blowouts are fun as the sponsors who pay $5 M per 30 second spot won't have a big TV audience seeing their commercials run in the 4th quarter for the outcome will be decided and people change channel . lol

I still root for my favorite team, the 1975 St Louis Cardinals!

Seattle
and then, in the same year, does Donovan lead Seattle to the WS title?
two titles for one town in same year?

Agreed, not close.
Seahawks won the toughest division in the NFL, the easily dispatched the 49ers by 35 points and led the Rams by 11 until giving up a meaningless TD late in the 4th quarter.
They look like a team which has peaked at the right time.
27-13.

The NFL is corrupt, so you always have to take that into account. I'm guessing the league wants the Patriots to win on this 250th birthday of the nation.
Same as when the league wanted the Patriots to win amid the patriotic fervor after 9-11. The 2001 St. Louis Rams can testify. (The Patriots mugged Rams receivers all game long with impunity, and no flag was thrown on an obvious grounding by Brady on the game-winning drive. And don't forget that the Patriots never should have even made the SB that year, because they were gifted a playoff win vs. the Raiders based on a made up on the fly tuck rule that negated a game-losing Brady fumble.)
Watch the refs today. That will be the tell.
But I don't really care. The NFL can take a hike after what it did to STL.

The refs like to keep their yellow flag in their pocket for Super Bowl games. It's the old 'don't have a refs call decide the game syndrome.. let the players play ' lolicon wrote: ↑08 Feb 2026 13:34 pm The NFL is corrupt, so you always have to take that into account. After the Ram receiver mugged , then Bilichick in the Super Bowl vs. Indy and Peyton Manning knew that he would be burned if tried to blitz Manning so he told his DB's to mug the Colts WR's every time down the field. Reportedly one of Pats a DB meeting week of that game said , 'yeah but won't we get a lot of interference penalties if we do that ' .. Belichick told them NO ! They may throw one on you but they will NOT throw a flag on every pass play. They just won't do that in a Super Bowl game. So keep interfering with them . It worked. Other coaches/GM's around the league were so upset that NFL officials would not call the obvious penalties. Manning was neutralized as his WR's were held, bumped , pushed etc.
