Too much of a layup. I don't want to be a bully
Admit it….you miss the twirler as well
Not near as much as the cap-off-hair-flip. He was a total weenie-but I liked him. Fun player.
This dull (bleep) team could use some flamboyancy.
Winn is fun sometimes.
Well, that's a start lol
I hope to see the culture change with Mo gone. Hopefully the changes Bloom has put in place bring positive results. Happy players are better players. Especially young players.

The problem is he’s likely going to get paid based on his career year last season instead of who he has been his entire career. Before last season he hadn’t had an OPS over .657 since 2021 or an OBP over .300 since 2021. Let some other team pay on the foolish belief he’s now a .796 OPS hitter.
If you saw my other post, I see him as a platoon player
Our outfield sucks however and could use some help. Value wise I agree with you.
And if he was cheap maybe 2 or 3 million fine but some fool team is going to pay him based on his career year and he is not going to want to go somewhere where he will be just a platoon player he will go to a team where he will get as much playing time as possible and that isn’t with the cardinals
Nobody is cheap anymore. Except maybe the Cardinals these days
Duh.

Yes, I would sign him to a 3-year/$48 million dollar deal. He is still only 31 years old, and you can make him the veteran cornerstone player this team needs. It would be the best Cardinal signing in years if they get it done, and let's hope they do!!

Wow ! 3 years /$48 M you would have paid him .

He just signed today for 2 yrs/ $20.5 M So $10 .25 M per year Giants paying him and you wanted to give him $16 M per year
You offered to pay him over 50% more than what he signed for !

I know! Talk about a missed opportunity. The Cardinals will regret not signing him for years, maybe even decades, to come. Come on Mo!!!

Well if the cardinals are overpaying for a player I hope it’s not for Harrison bader I would rather see Scott or church play every day than see him put up a .657 ops. And again he’s going to want to go to a team where he’s an everyday player or close to it
You're probably right. It's too bad he would be a good platoon/4th OF fit for this team.
That I don’t disagree with. The cardinals definitely need a platoon outfielder and bader can play center field which hays and andjuar can’t but like I said the cardinals aren’t in a position where they can or should over pay him based on his career year last season and guarantee him a lot of playing time
CF is a weak position in our system. Hopefully Scott can pick up the pace. Can Willie still play?
Bryan Torres can play CF.

That doesn't change anything. We're weak at that position which is the only reason Scott is there now.
If we had any depth he would be learning to hit in AAA instead of the big leagues.

Bader had a career year last year. . Believe his batting avg. was .277 Bader for his extensive career is a .247 hitter. Be careful !
