Re: Carbonneau in today vs CBJ
Dressing Carbo again tonight might just mean that they want him to get as many minutes as possible against older guys/men as possible before sending him back to juniors. I admit I don't think he's making this team. Armstrong wants the 1st round prospects playing top 6 roles in games and practice while they are here. Carbo is not making the top 6 on this team, but they placed him with Holloway and Schenn to start camp. Dvorsky might be the exception because he could be that 3W out of camp. At camp they had Dvo practice on a line with Suter and Kyrou from the start. Suter at center.

In the future say your point like a man at first. This was [kittycat]Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 14:45 pmCarbonneau is average NHL height & weight: I don't get the "linebacker" comparable (Perron is just slightly smaller)seattleblue wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 14:12 pmYou could have saved us the time by saying, "I think this is a bad comparison because they are essentially already equal" to which no that is not correct and your point, which I did originally take, was itself wrong and bad. Are we done nowMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:57 pm6'1 200 would be a small linebackerseattleblue wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:50 pmnot sure 1 inch on his existing frame, but if he were taller and more built like a linebacker the way Carbonneau is and he played with the same Perron energy we saw then we likely would have seen more violence out there on the ice tbhMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:36 pmWhat if Perron was 1 inch taller, what would happen?seattleblue wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 10:27 am can you honestly imagine David Perron if he also were 6'1" linebacker build and wanted to truck people ...
He's not no linebacker, just a medium sized dude that plays hockey. He's not like Byfuglien, Reaves or Grier, etc.
Yeah, we're done now.![]()

So you can’t identify a single punch…in a vid in which you initially tried to provide an example for punching?Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 16:34 pmWell, he wasn't fined $10,000 for riding Joseph like a horse.theograce wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 16:24 pmAt what point in the video were the punches thrown? I’m serious laughing at you. Forcing you to identify that as your best example….from 6 years ago too. You wanted an example of "jumping on someone". There you go, you got one and I know it hurts you.theograce wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 16:51 pmI’m serious laughing at you. You better run you coward.

Re: Carbonneau in today vs CBJ
Carbonneau makes the team over Dvorsky in my opinion. Though either making it is still a longshot. Carbonneau looks more like a NHler today.
Re: Carbonneau in today vs CBJ
Wish I could see these games and watch him play
Re: Carbonneau in today vs CBJ
Carbo might be ready to make this team but DD definitely isn't. Dvorskys skating looks like Lucics...not good.
Carbo could be ready but he's not beating Joseph or Tex in my opinion. Maybe next year. He has looked good though. Silky smooth shot.
