You and Minny spend a lot of time on this guy. Not judging…just surprising
Sorry, but it sounds like you are judging….and let’s be honest, you of all people have zero room to talk.
You stalked TBone for weeks and just kept getting it handed to you.
It forced you to cry to the mods…..How embarrassing. I am judging and I’m also not surprised.
That’s nice what it sounds like to a guy I wasn’t talking to

You and TBone both publicly announced I was on ignore. Shame … laughing
Admin Hill ….Everybody’s talking about it…
Laughing harder
Ouch that’s all you have is me predicting a goalie starting. You are one of the hockey dumber guys on this board. You can’t even stand behind your thoughts
Adin Hill…..such a liar.
Everyone still talking about it….
Laughing even harder.

That he was a better alternative than Joseph, Texier and Dvorsky in the top 6.

Plus, it was good for his development.

callitwhatyouwant wrote: 03 Sep 2025 10:23 am What's the best sandwich shops in STL Ranked? It's one of the few things I don't have very much experience with food wise in the St. Louis area. Really only have had Gioas and Mom's. And I thought Gioas was great, Mom's was basically something I could get anywhere.

So If I start the list, can you guys fill it in and move them around were it's appropriate. Let's get a top 5 and honorable mention?

1. Gioas
2. x
3. x
4. x
5. x

Honorable Mention Mom's
Grew up in South St. Louis and nothing can hold a candle to Mom’s Deli, Sorry.
If I had to make a list though…..
1. Mom’s
2. Gioas is good too
3. Psghetti’s….Surprise from me. But there bread is off the charts.

And the two best chains for me ar Jimmy John’s and Penn Station…although their bread keeps getting thinner and thinner which sucks. I will only eat Subway if their is nothing else….but I only get the flatbread at Subway.
Has Moms reopened yet?
Not to my knowledge. Family squabbles are a sad thing....
They are set to go in soha.....I'll be there for the philly beef. I get it cold and take it home for dinner...one of the few times I'll micro a breaded sammich but that's how they do it there anyway.
I stand corrected. I just talked to my brother who was visiting my Mom (she still lives in the house I grew up in). He said Mom’s is now open. It’s located on Hampton Avenue, a couple doors down from Salt & Smoke.
Glad to hear that Mom‘s finally reopened. I’ve been craving a Mom‘s deli sandwich. Also gotta put a shout out to Adrianna‘s on the hill. Another very top-notch sandwich.

I can conclusively verify that it is all coming to end. I see the tell-tale sign. Notice the big bushy tails between their legs?

I'm going to recommend that Mom's create a new sandwich in honor of BluesTalk.

The "BluesTalker"
Army Green Lettuce between 2 imagined Sock Puppets, served with a Silver Cup of Ice Water.

The rest of the world will yawn, but BluesTalkers will gladly buy it and tell everyone how good the 1 Cup is.

ASSOGG, the NHL has 32 teams, the Blues will not be overdue for a Cup until 2052. In the spirit of "education won" there's your lesson for today.

I watched him in a handful of Minnesota games and I never saw that level of I guess, 'energy, from him. So. I don't know.
Before those playoff games I was silently seeing Bergy. After I was happy I never voiced that. Because I thought he showed big promise.
The Blues management know more about "the man" than we do. We see draft position, stats, size, etc we dont know the person. This is why Tony Feltrin and his staff are so good, this is why this ridiculous stream of posts from this attention seeker are a fallacy. Guess what, doesnt matter where exactly you were drafted its the skillset, the mindset how coachable and the quality of the staff developing you. We can point out again and again how well Blues picks have performed vs their draft class, top 10 or better over and over.
This is why Snuggerud (23rd in '22) performed so well in the first round series vs the Jets, as did Neighbours. Snuggerud comes from a legit hockey family and the Blues knew the pedigree matters.
Watch Snuggerud in the Calder hunt, right now oddsmakers have Jimmy S, at +1400 or 5th behind Demidov (5th in '24), Nikishin (69th in '20), Parekh (9th in '24); Leonard (8th in '23). Odd only Demidov was "Top 5". Jimmy Snuggerud could very easily explode on Thomas's RW for 30 goals and it would not shock me in the least.
This is what Snuggerud playing in the playoff tells us you moron.

Give this man a Gold Star. He has finally stumbled upon great meaning, but we won't focus on how he got there.

Given this fact about the CUP and 2052...
1) Do you want your team to stumble into the playoffs each year for the "CHANCE TO WIN THE CUP"?, or
2) Do you want to watch the word's best hockey players every day ON YOUR TEAM, wearing a Blues Jersey with a name on the back that doesn't expire in a year?

Army wants you to chase the CUP--because the cash registers ring better for the Owner when you do.

Most folks do want number 1. Just watching star players with no shot at a Cup is self-defeating at best.

You also accidentally stumbled onto the truth. You act like Army makes these decisions unilaterally. He doesn’t. He was given a direction to follow by the owners and he does a pretty good job within those parameters. St Louis is not NY, Chicago or any other big market, we don’t have the means to tank as you suggest.
Which suits most of us around here just fine thank you very much.

1. Yes
2. We do. NHL players are the best in the world. Players like Thomas, Parayko, Binnington are VERY close to "best in the world" as individuals, and in moments on the ice they may be just that. In a Blues uniform I have seen ROR, Pietrangelo, Pronger, MacInnis, Demitra, Hull, Gretzky, Shanahan, Oates, Stevens, Federko, Gilmour, Barclay Plager, Glenn Hall, Jacques Plante, Doug Harvey, even Dickie Moore. Many other great players.

No complaints, just appreciation for I believe 58 years of Blues/NHL hockey now. Plus, I have seen many HHOFers play for other teams in person, on the ice. One of the earliest was Stan Mikita.

So the Stan Musials and the Wayne Gretzky's and the Tom Brady's will play elsewhere, while we get the no-name playoff-disappearing-act? I see.

Sorry, Man. That doesn't work for me. Buckle up, Man. I'm not sucking on the hind one for the rest of my life.

Might be time now to let that go.

Musial played for ONE MLB team. Didn't hear Yankee fans complaining about that. He tore up the NL for 20 years, but other teams had great players like Mays, Snider, Aaron, the Robinsons, Banks, et al. As a fan I went to games and watched them, regardless of who was on the Cardinals or how good or bad they were at the time.

You still have a LOT to learn about being a sports fan. You might park the agenda and LISTEN to others who have experienced a lot more life, and appreciated the ride.

I watched my hometown football team leave twice because the Owner was chasing money. I'm not watching Owners chase money at my expense anymore.

If St Louis is in a "league", the field needs to be level. I'm not keen on paying big money for the newest form of Pro Wrestling.
