What does Snuggerud playing in playoffs tell us?

Post by a smell of green grass »

Snuggerud was thrust high into our playoff lineup with only a few NHL games under his belt. I suspect that the Minnesota snow had not even melted off his car yet.

What does Snuggerud, a green rookie, playing in the playoffs tell us?

A. Snuggerud is a star.
B. Army's roster is horribly weak.
C. All of the Above.

The correct answer is B. No rookie is ready to be thrust into a playoff lineup like that. Even if Snuggerud is the next Gretzky, we should not have found ourselves relying on a rookie like that.

Yet one more visible clue that our GM is failing.

What's the best sandwich shops in STL Ranked? It's one of the few things I don't have very much experience with food wise in the St. Louis area. Really only have had Gioas and Mom's. And I thought Gioas was great, Mom's was basically something I could get anywhere.

So If I start the list, can you guys fill it in and move them around were it's appropriate. Let's get a top 5 and honorable mention?

1. Gioas
2. x
3. x
4. x
5. x

Honorable Mention Mom's

Are you implying that the Blues threw a rookie into a playoff game despite the fact that the sample size of Snuggerud's play was very small?

He surprised me.

I watched him in a handful of Minnesota games and I never saw that level of I guess, 'energy, from him. So. I don't know.
Before those playoff games I was silently seeing Bergy. After I was happy I never voiced that. Because I thought he showed big promise.

2. Gioas is good too
3. Psghetti’s….Surprise from me. But there bread is off the charts.

And the two best chains for me ar Jimmy John’s and Penn Station…although their bread keeps getting thinner and thinner which sucks. I will only eat Subway if their is nothing else….but I only get the flatbread at Subway.

What is wrong now? Why cant he play for us? Did David Backes not get some games--I dont get it. New rules again? Moving goal post? All these strange caveats.

Tells us that you are a true loser. Only agenda is to stir up trouble. Fake fan. Strange person you are. Jeeze. Go cheer for Chicago. You are fake. Fake. Fake. You are so annoying dude.

This is why the foe button is irrelevant. You have to sign in so that comments are hidden. Coming from somone who only browses and posts from mobile browser, sometimes trying 3,4 or 5 times to log in. I say that to say this….

Carolina did the same with nikishin
Minnesota with buium
Washington with leonard
This is just off the top of my head on lunch break.

The mods here have got to do something about this joke of a poster. I can get behind someone who has a differing of opinion and stands by it. But this has been and continues to make a mockery of this site. I do understand that i can just ignore them. But it is ridiculous that there is a 10 step process to ignore someone, but nothing to keep the problem child from destroying every post they are on.

ASOGG: We need to play the prospects!

Also ASOGG: Playing our prospects shows the other players suck and thus our GM, who also drafted the prospect, sucks!

There’s just no point, guys. It’s all nonsensical circular logic.

I am, I am also implying that the Blues coaches must have seen him and also had the confidence to state that he was ready against a team that had never played against him before. Lets see how he does now that other teams know he is there and adjust their defensive strategies accordingly.

The Circle-Jerks around here are quite horrendous.

Army (Feb 1): We can't bring up Dvorsky now because it doesn't make sense to bring a rookie into this mess.
Army (April 1): Tell Snuggerud to get out there on Line 1.

Montgomery (May 1): The Blues play hard-nosed high-effort hockey because that is what the fans want.
Kyrou (Game 1 Playoffs): Poor Guy took a hit. It's completely acceptable that he check out.

I AM for playing the prospects. All prospects. I'm also for transparency. How you play them reveals a lot about your team.

With regard to the expectations for Snuggerud, it would be wise to discount the fact that he played in the playoffs.

Snuggerud did not win a place on the roster over time by outplaying veterans.
He did not win a place on the roster quickly.
He was handed a roster spot on a silver platter in the playoffs because Army's roster is so weak.

Place your bets accordingly.

I will stop making fun of the OP because I am pretty sure he is actually retarded.

Snuggy played where he did in the lineup because Holloway was injured. If Holloway were healthy, the Blues likely beat the Jets in 5 or 6 games.
