How long would you suspend him?
I would give him 15 games.
I would give him 15 games.

Well Robles threw his bat at he pitcher while rehabbing and it was intentional. Obviously Contras wasn't trying to hit someone. So whatever Victor Robles got would set that mark. He got ten games. So I would expect Contras to be between 5 and ten.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:01 pmHopefully the punishment is stiff.TopofthePerch wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 21:59 pmNot defending just not ready to crucify someone for losing their cool because it happens. The Marmot is an idiot.Red7 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:08 pmIt certainly was. It’s why he got dumped so quickly. It’s one thing to beef on a borderline or even a missed call, but down cock and center? Nope. Oli getting dumped was just as stupid. It’s one thing to have you player’s back, but to keep it up until you get dumped is just dumb.
10 games minimumTopofthePerch wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:14 pmWell Robles threw his bat at he pitcher while rehabbing and it was intentional. Obviously Contras wasn't trying to hit someone. "...whatever the umpire said is what really fired him up. It must have been pretty bad...."Hoosier59 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:11 pm After watching the replay, Willson asked the umpire why he threw him out of the game. He was fairly calm until the umpire told Willson his reason. You could read Wilson’s lips as he said, “ I never said that” , umpire, “Yes you Did” , Willson, now adamantly, “ I never said that” then the umpire replies again and Willson goes berserk! So, whatever the umpire said is what really fired him up. It must have been pretty bad, whatever the umpire said, but we’ll never know what that was. We’ll also never know if he is disciplined for it.

I wasn’t defending Willson, Dude, I was just relaying what I saw on the replay. However, the umpire is not innocent in this either.hmoss859 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:13 pmIt doesn’t matter what was said dude, Contreas crossed a line you don’t cross, throwing a bat is tabooHoosier59 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:11 pm After watching the replay, Willson asked the umpire why he threw him out of the game. He deserves whatever punishment the league throws at him

Wow. No way you can compare passion to reckless violence. I love his passion for the game, but hes taken this to roid-rage territory.TopofthePerch wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 21:34 pmYea and he will take responsibility for his actions. It's just hilarious because I know everyone praised him for being the only player that has any passion and when it goes the other way it's like I am tired of this.hmoss859 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 21:29 pmThere is no defending Contreas at allTopofthePerch wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 21:28 pmHe plays with a lot of emotion and clearly lets it get the best of him but at least he has it. That’s stupidity, not passion
He’s a fake tough guy
If he were still a Cubbie, there would be no talk about passion. He's now become Zambrano on steroids.RamFan08NY wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 22:28 pmWow. No way you can compare passion to reckless violence.
