Well sit here and watch Gorman, Walker, Scott, hit .220-.230 for years
But calling up a guy with real talent who CAN HIT….
No….no….no…..maybe he’ll get a chance next season
It's OK if you don't understand.
Hitters hit……I know its been a long while since we’ve seen a really good young hitter….can you remember the last one??
Oscar Taveras?

What if they signed him to a 12 year contract with 4 team options while he's still affordable?

They won't lose a year of control by bringing him up now, but they will lose their chance for him to be ROY next year.

They will gain a year of control if they don't bring him up until late April in 2026.

How long before you bring him up!!!!
They have to wait until August 14th or else they lose a year of service. More than 45 days on the roster or 130 ABs makes him not a rookie.
I don't care!
You constantly hear it's not about service time when it's about service time....yes no reason to bring him up in a season like this ...which is the excuse most will use...but it still comes down to service time is why you don't do it

He HAS to be a September call up (sooner if Donny is actually dealt).

This is THE GUY that C. Bloom is going to build around.

Get him up here and let him get his feet wet in MLB so he hits the ground running in 2026.

He smells MLB and is killing it (4 HR: .333 .391 .762 1.153).

See ya' soon JJ :D

The Cards are going to make room in the lineup for him. So who and what position does he replace? It will be likely 2B or 3B. With Herrera likely to be the LF in 2026, Where does that leave Noot and Donovan if Wetherholt plays 2B. I think the Cards will eat some of Nado's salary and trade him to make room for Wetherholt at 3b.
