You're good. I'd agree that at best Nolan Arenado is a pure salary dump. Even if the Cardinals bought down some of the remaining salary, I don't think they'd get much in return for him. And that projection for Sonny Gray in 2026 seems rather pessimistic. They're expecting him to deal with injury issues. I mean, it's not a bad gamble to make given his age but that seems pessimistic at best. They're projecting him at 128.7 innings, and he's only done that 3 seasons excluding his rookie year and this year.An Old Friend wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 10:08 amOK, first - my bad. On Sonny... ZiPS projection has him at 1.6 fWAR in 2026. FWIW.
