We will wait until the car is broken before we try to sell it. Everyone knows you can't sell a car that is running perfectly fine.
Should they always sell high. Sometimes sell high, or sell
high when the consensus of Cards Talk says to.
Lol. Cards Talk, of course. Where there have been hundreds of claims of legitimately meeting the qualifications of being an MLB GM.
To be fair there are some who could have done it IF in the system.

Burly led the Cards in RBI last season, 2nd in OPS this season, and making next to nothing, and only 26.

As has been discussed ad naseum.. Burley is yet another of the current group who can hit reasonably well, but is a defensive liability. Burley is actually not too bad at 1B, so if he plays in the field, that is where you want him. But alas, we have WC there most days. Bloom will have some choices to make. You cannot have Gorman, Burley, IH, and whoever else I am forgetting all needing to DH so you don't hide them in the field. We shall see....

That guy and Contreras are the only real power hitters on the team.
He is ascendant, and now hitting lefties.
It hurts to say this, but if we trade someone in a package, it should be Walker.
We have a
very bad history of hanging onto Faberge' eggs way too long.

And then there's that.
