Yes, why would mozeliak fire Oli on his way out the door? Makes zero sense. So, maybe the cardinals do it after all
I'm with you, it'll never happen.

It makes zero sense for a lame duck GM to fire his lame duck manager.

I think that DeWitt is resigned to the fact that ticket sales are going to suck this year, and quite possibly next year too.

It wouldn't surprise me the least bit to see managerial move after Bloom takes over. Considering hiw backwards (donkey) this team has been run, I could see them keep Marmol next year too. Or, at least fire him when they (if) they plan to expand payroll and win again.

I can believe that they'll leave Oli and place this season regardless of record to be the public pinata. However, there is no way in hell Bloom isn't going to pick his own manager for 2026
Unless BDW or BDW3 demand oli stay through the extension (at least). Why on earth was idiot Mo allowed to give lil oli a 3 year extension? :x
To make him feel comfortable. That's the important thing. We mustn't make Oli worry about where his next paycheck is coming from and first and foremost we can't have him worrying about winning or leading a team.
Another example this team is either ran by idiots or being sabotaged. Any owner desiring to win would've canned the pud after a disastrous 2023. 71-91. Throwing multiple players under the bus. And the POBO admits he signed old guys to lead the clubhouse because this doofus can't.

I liked Tony. I was also on the MLB forum back then, when it still existed.

Couldn’t win on the road.
We have someone that will put butts in the seats, can manage the game from a catchers view and will hold players accountable.
Welcome coach Molina!!!
Molina won’t even show up to the ballpark.

Yes. TLR was often criticized, especially for his get away game lineups

Molina lives rent free in your tiny little brain.
Can we retire the whole "rent free" phrase?

It's not clever anymore. It hasn’t been for years.
Now it just sounds smug despite being tired, and painfully generic.
