I mean I watched the whole game, I don't think Binny had a very good game overall. He made the one save with his cheater in the 2nd that was a good save but otherwise pretty pedestrian. It is okay to just acknowledge he didn't win them the game.

Glad we got the extra point!
All that is fine. Both goals before that were weird but yeah he didn't steal this one. That being said, to argue he should have stopped the slapper that tied it is just nonsense.
I agree with SD. What bothered me about that goal was the fact that the Blues cleared the D zone and for reasons can't understand, the Blues headed up ice rather than collapsing on the blue line to prevent re-entry.
The Blues made several big and small mistakes in the closing couple of minutes. This game was highly competitive and the Nucks have some very talented players, with Hughes arguably the most talented player on the ice. Have to give them credit for that play to tie the game, they got help but it took a lot of skill on their part, too. In the end the Blues took the extra point from them.

I'm sure they will talk about how that played out and take some lessons learned. The big lesson is when things don't go your way you keep playing your game, trusting your teammates and the process. They seem to be grasping that lesson pretty well.

Tucker was the # 1st star instead of my personal SOG who would’ve been the star had we won in regulation in my opinion-Holloway was my choice.
Number two was Broberg for scoring the overtime goal and number three was their player, Boeser

Personal question, TBone...

Is owning a filthy troll and all it's associated socks as rewarding an experience as you make it seem?

Not sure what any of that has to do with this. My post was about the goal with 2 seconds left. I already said I know he wasn't great the rest of the game. This really isn't this hard but I see you are looking for something to complain about. Have fun!

You acknowledged he wasn’t good tonight thank you it was my point. Blues dominated the game gave up a free point can’t do that when points are precious.

On top of it they miss the fact their goalie got outplayed AND gave up a softie with 3 seconds left in the biggest game of the year
Binnington got toasted so hard I was waiting for them to smother butter on him. Just toast central! Big game, big choke. What else is new, Bluesers??

3 generations, Aesa..I like that. I ahve my gransons and a granddaughter but my daughter rarely attends games (minor league where I'm at)

I wa going to say about the Blues.....I thnk we played less than stellar for parts of the games 2 games in a row. I woud not be surprised if Monty gathers the group, shows some vidoes and brings up back more like the prior few games (hopefully without the Dallas game influence). For us grandfathers, it is always a WIN NOW scenerioo so we can sahre and pass along our love for the Blues to our next in line. Have several Blues jerseys I share with the big group of em . Need to get in while we are hot and you never know about next season and therafter. Paying inspiring for the most part for 2 weeks or so

When Faulk bungled that tho, you just knew it was coming
Let's be real, when CP55 went down did anyone think we'd be here right now? Defensive miscues are going to happen until Colt comes back. The hope is that you can overcome them. You know who really lost with last night with this being a 3 point game? Calgary.

I was at the game. Sitting in the second row of Section 316, down in the corner where the Blues shoot twice. The play started along the boards on our side. Then the puck went over to Boesser who scored with two seconds left and the dude could not have been more alone. Reading the replies upthread I get that there was blown coverage. My buddy thought maybe the Boesser had snuck off the bench on a change but that makes no sense. I don't think anyone is changing lines at that point. They obviously never showed the replay on the jumbotron. I'm still dumbfounded by how that guy was so wide open and alone at that point. Just a total mental collapse.

What a rollercoaster of a game. Up 1-0. They score two early goals in the third and the place goes dead. Then the two goals in 25 secs has to be as loud as the rink has been all year. The deflating late goal and then the Broberg OT winner. Stinks that they got the extra point. It also really blows that when I last looked CAL was down 3-1 5 minutes into the third and then scored 4. Thanks NJ.
