Not that is matters with this team but good thing they sent Saggese down as it's obvious they don't need his bat in this Murderer's Row lineup.

Just a day or 2 ago, some on CT were boasting about this being a Top 10 offense. Yeah, built on the 1st 9 games.
Thought I would check how the Cards rank in offensive categories For 29 games not the first 9.
OPS .730 10th. Batting avg .263 tied 1st in mlb
Runs 131 12th. Hits 264. 2nd best Doubles 61 1st best
OBP .333 7th. SLG .397 11th

The point was, early on, it was a great offense. Now do the last 20 games since the 1st 9.
