ghost runner time in Great American Smallpark
Brewers got a run in the top of 9 to tie the game 2-2
They refuse to lose!! Good grief!
each team scored their ghost runner
to the 11th, tied 3-3
Monasterio just hit a 3-run homer for Brewers

Hampson taking Scott II spot in the sixth inning. For medical attention is one thing but if Scott is out we have to bring someone up. We can’t play 3 short, can we? Plus Hampson can’t get regular playing time. He just isn’t a ML player.

He certainly fits into our pitching staff nicely and snuggly. Giving up bombs to .222 hitters.
Why do we bother?
I used to dream of comebacks .. now I just dream of the season mercifully ending.

Walker and Scott both had no idea where the ball was on plays at the wall.
Both were catchable balls - and both players simply missed them.
Could have been 2 outs.
Both were turned in HR.
Easy catches?
No.
But both quite catchable.

That might be said for several of the lads.
