I agree, that was dangerous and should not have been approved.
Haha! I forgot that was actually a real thing for a while. That was taking the "classic baseball" feel a few steps too far.
Not to mention they had a frickin flagpole in the middle of the hill. If nootbaar was playing cf in their park back then, hed have certainly injured himself on either the hill or hitting the flagpole.

that's why I used the word dangerous.
like those on-the-field bullpens in foul territory.
dangerous for outfielders flying at high speed to catch a foul fly
