That was my prediction. Could get worse though. They look really lifeless. As Bulldog said, just a bunch of flightless birds.
Oli's strategy is to only pitch 8 IP in road games to keep his bullpen fresh in October.

Or take third strike looking. I see a lot of that too. Dam
Reds just got a whole bunch of great pitchers
"Reds just got a whole bunch of great pitchers"

Apparently

Man I hate how inconsistent this (bleep) team is. Where is the fire they were showing earlier in the season

I never bought in to the hot offensive start. Donovan and Nootbaar are both nice players, but if they are your two best bats you don't have much of an offense.

On the bright side (literally), the sun helped us avoid the shutout.

Cards need a baserunner and last two batters swing at the first pitch. Nice baseball right there.

Wow. Pathetic. Someone on TV said the arenado walk off was going to be a jolt to get things turned around. Yup looks like it, with 2 runs in 2 games to division opponents.

Caray - Contreras hasn’t made an error all year at his new position.

Brad - even when he makes an error he puts it behind him and focuses on the next play

——-

Brad - even when he grounds out he busts his butt to first. He plays the game the right way

Contreras promptly grounds to short, jogs to first…
