I currently have an open bench spot and am trying to add a player via waivers. It is requiring that I make a cut before submitting..not sure why as I do have an open spot. Please advise.
Thanks
If you have an open spot, it should not be doing that.

Looking at your roster, you are actually at 26 active players. If you move Spencer Jones to an NA spot, you should have an available space. Minor leaguers are not automatically added to NA when you draft them.
One edit to the above - I believe if all of your 26 active roster spots are filled with non-NA players, if you claim a player who is NA eligible, they will go straight into a NA slot. I believe that is what happened when I claimed Clark and Snelling.

I'm guessing the problem is, if you have a NA eligible player (Jones) in an active roster spot and try to claim another NA player, the system gets confused about which one to send to an NA spot and chokes.

I would guess the same "logic" applies to IL eligible players.
The problem was he was trying to add another active player when he already had 26 active players. If he was trying to add another NA player, it would have been added to his available NA slot, with Jones remaining on his active roster.

I’ve never experienced the choking confusion you describe w/ NA or IL slots.

I've run into some weirdness at times, I just don't recall the specifics of what it was.

I notice you specifically said, "Minor leaguers are not automatically added to NA when you draft them," which is of course true. I thought initially we were now talking about adding them, hence my clarification.

Ok. Only allowed 2 NA's, thought 4 for some reason.

Thanks for the updates.

Thanks for confirming Matt.

Quince, glad to see you are in Mid Season form. Unable to share comment while Rejecting a Trade Offer..might be a mobile platform issue on my end.

Last offer not appealing at all. In addition, want to give my horses a trot before glue farming them.

CPC..Ditto

0-5 with 4 Ks, trade Aaron Judge now while you can still get something for him.

Commish,
Placed a successful claim on Lance McCullers Jr yet he did not appear on my roster this morning.

Sproat was the player I indicated that I would be cutting.

Any idea what happened.

Thanks

Looked a few times and did not see that. And still saw Sproat on my roster. Granted I had just woken up and did not have my glasses at hand.

Team was showing up with Monday's date. After switching to Tuesday all seems right.

Other than I will be kicking myself in the (donkey) soon enough for claiming either and or dropping the wrong one and or running with the wrong one at wrong time.

Standings are kind of weirdly condensed now - nobody over 115.5 as of this morning.

It is weird. Lose 24 one day gain 18 the next. Guess today, I'll lose 20+ again.

Spending like that you won't.

Just kidding. You wanted him. You got him.

I have often overpaid for a Cardinal as the thought some other jaboney might get him in a league was unpalatable to me. Rarely served me well but in view of no money on the line one must get their kicks wherever they can.
