Does it take any of the fun out of it using FantasyPros to make every pick?
I’m a natural! I didn’t use any publications or services to select my well oiled machine!
I kind of assume that going off chalk with my first pick had me destined for a failing grade right off the rip.
Rodriguez was an interesting pick. He's gotten off to some pretty slow starts the last three years. I think his 1st half OPS from 2023-2025 is like .720 or so.
But, since I drafted Acuna again for the 2nd time in three years, I'm sure he'll be out for the season by May.

I used FantasyPro but had to make the picks in Yahoo. For whatever reason, I couldn't get the two to work together smoothly. Always seemed like FantasyPro was a pick or two behind. I know once I was going to draft Baty, FP showed him available but he was gone in Yahoo. Several others at the beginning. So I couldn't fully trust what FP was showing me.
I was pretty happy with my first 3 picks, my 4th was Roman Anthony. Looking back that might have been a little early but FP experts seemed to like it.

Last year I went Vlad + Yordan in the first two rounds and it was an epic failure. I was also chasing SB all season and just adding bums to try to get a few extra swipes.
I wanted to get some safe power and speed, so it was really Julio or Ramirez. I have Ramirez in a different league, so wanted a different look. I’m expecting Julio to notch his 3rd 30/30 season.

Admittedly, if it had been me, I'd have gone Ramirez because of his value over the average 3B vs. Rodriguez's over the average OF. I thought hard about Ramirez vs. Acuna at #6 but went Acuna just because I think he has considerable upside potential (that he's reached in prior seasons) over his projections.
Morning Quincy,
I currently have an open bench spot and am trying to add a player via waivers. It is requiring that I make a cut before submitting..not sure why as I do have an open spot. Please advise.
Thanks

If you have an open spot, it should not be doing that.
Looking at your roster, you are actually at 26 active players. If you move Spencer Jones to an NA spot, you should have an available space. Minor leaguers are not automatically added to NA when you draft them.

One edit to the above - I believe if all of your 26 active roster spots are filled with non-NA players, if you claim a player who is NA eligible, they will go straight into a NA slot. I believe that is what happened when I claimed Clark and Snelling.
I'm guessing the problem is, if you have a NA eligible player (Jones) in an active roster spot and try to claim another NA player, the system gets confused about which one to send to an NA spot and chokes.
I would guess the same "logic" applies to IL eligible players.

This is correct. And that’s a nice feature because you don’t have to drop somebody in order to make a room and then move them to NA.

Yeah - and I maybe misread Daze's original, I thought it said that he was trying to claim another NA eligible player with NA-eligible Jones on his active roster.
If he was trying to claim a non-NA eligible player with Jones still in an active roster spot, then it was definitely going to choke.
