And you want "2 or 3 like him"?

BA isn't the right stat to judge a hitter by anymore.

Give Saggese a chance. He has improved tremendously at every level and made adjustments. He will 100% be a better player than Gorman. I think he will be like a young Matt Carpenter given a little time.

I like Burleson's durability, so far. Don't you? I remember, one game, he got nailed on the foot. I believe they took him out of that game for precautionary measures. He was back in there the next game. Would all of the players have made such a fast recovery?

You have a small point with AB, since they won't replace everyone some power
is better than no power. His "power" might one day be 25 HR range.

Inconsistent to me that some praise BD's hitting and are critical at the same time at AB.
They are very close.
BD hits a 1 HR every 50 PA's. He won't hit 25 HR. Both are slow.

IF SS, CF, and C don't offer much pop
then have to find it where you can and one of these guys should probably be dealt while
value is high. Nothing wrong with either player, just attempting to find spots to get both some speed
and some SLG. The Cards being 27th in TB without enough speed.


Saggese is connected more to Donovan than Arenado, IMO.
A utility player until he proves anything more, just as Donovan started. He can't have the bat knocked
out of his hands by MLB pitchers and be anything more than a utility.
